Rebecca Minkoff’s Fitting Rooms Tripled Sales

Rebecca Minkoff’s flagship store in New York introduced a new technology for its consumers. “Connected Store”, the technology in the fitting room, overlays the mirror but no cameras are involved. They use RFID tags to recognize items brought in by shoppers. Powered by eBay, shoppers can pull up product screens that show the item styled with different looks that are also available in different sizes and colors just like when shopping online.
